A couple of weeks ago Baby and I were invited to Hamleys in London for a Kids Stuff Crazy Lather Lab Play Date! How exciting! Baby LOVES water and so I knew it would be a fabulous event.
The Lather Lab was a fun, interactive event organised by Kids Stuff in the amazing venue of Hamleys toy shop. I have never been to Hamleys and it was quite exciting waiting outside for the opening countdown.
Once inside the event was soapy, bubbly and VERY messy! Thankfully the team had bought lots of lovely kiddy aprons, which meant we didn’t have to wrestle soggy toddlers on the way home.
There was so much for the kids to do; a colouring table, an area of very messy bath foam play and water table, which Baby loved. She did spend quite a lot of time collecting pens and dipping them in the water…. but she did enjoy playing the the colour changing bath products as well. Some lovely children, who are part of the Kids Stuff family, were on hand to refill/change water bowls and show the others how the products worked. This was a lovely touch and they were fabulous children. Our kiddies could even have their faces painted (although I remain gutted that Baby is still too young).
The Kids Stuff range of bath-time goodies is really eye catching in both design and innovation, and includes Crazy Soap, Body Paints, Bath Goo and Colour Changing foam Bubble Bath. I mean, who doesn’t want colour changing bubble bath?! I wouldn’t say no!
The children were given the exclusive chance to win the opportunity to choose the names for some brand new Kids Stuff characters, which will feature Nationwide on their products next year. I picked for Baby, I’m sure she won’t mind.
This photo (and a couple in the collage) was taken by the lovely Jaime Oliver. Little did I know that Baby was going down with an awful virus and woke up the next morning with a temperature of 40.1 and a horrendous rash all over her. I can see it in her face in this picture, but despite this and no nap, she was a real superstar at the event.
I want to thank Hamleys, Kids Stuff and the wonderful PR company, who together put on a great event. Thanks for our invitation.
Disclosure: Our expenses to London were covered and we are being sent some bath goodies, but this have not influenced this post.

Oh bless you x
This looks like such a fun event. Little Miss H loves her bath time so I might have to purchase some colour changing bath foam. Also, so sorry to hear that Baby was unwell with a nasty virus. Little Miss had one a while back and was actually in hospital (suspected meningitis). It was pretty scary. I hope she has recovered. Bless her. Thanks again for linking up with #SundaysStars. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
