“living gifts for lasting memories”
When Tree2MyDoor contacted me I was really interested to see what they had to offer. Their website was packed full of a wide selection of British grown trees and shrubs.
I think it’s a great idea to give a gift like this, that will be a lasting memory for years to come. The Tree2MyDoor website is easy to navigate and allows you to shop by range, occasion and also filter my price, which was helpful for a gardening novice like me!
Easy product has a comprehensive information section which gives you enough information to make the right choice for your needs.
I decided to pick one of the bay trees; a double whammy, as it will look good beside the front door and Mr Hubby can use the leaves in his cooking.
Bay leaves have a unique and fragrant flavour that are used extensively in stews and casseroles. They are widely used in Asian and Mediterranean cooking and are said to have both healing and protective properties. It’s thought that a Bay Tree growing near or in your garden, will protect the house and ward off illness; having a 3 year old with what seems like a permanent cold, this was music to my ears! Also when a new baby arrives it’s thought to be lucky to celebrate by planting a Bay Tree.
The tree is approximately 110cm/3.5ft high.
- Versatile evergreen tree.
- Stands clipping well and is a favourite for Planters.
- Aromatic leaves can be used in cooking.
- Native to the Mediterranean.
- Tree is delivered in a 5L pot.
The tree arrived in an easy to carry cardboard box and was in perfect condition. I think it would be such a wonderful gift for someone special, especially in a pair.
What would you choose?
