Congrats! You're in!

June saw me write sixty-nine posts, slightly less than some other months this year! A couple of months ago I started writing a monthly round-up and I enjoyed reflecting on the posts gone by. So here we go with the best of June.

The best of June

I started June with a guest post from one of my best friends, the beautiful Amy from Mr and Mrs T Plus Three she wrote Get Your Vlog On, which was full of great tips if you yearn to dabble in vlogging.

My first #BlogClub post of the month was tips on how to redesign your blog yourself, yes you CAN do it on your own and I tell you how. I was tagged to write my ‘Ultimate Bucket List‘ and I really enjoyed taking time out to daydream about what I would love to do if money and responsibilities were no barrier. Just imagine!

I was then lucky enough to have Em from Snowing Indoors write a guest post for me. She shared her awesome photography knowledge in 2 Steps For Amazing Photos. As a blogger it is so hard not to get overwhelmed, as there is always so much to do. So I shared my tips on how to set achievable blogging goals and I hope they helped.

We were invited to the Isle of Wight to review Park Resorts, although not everything went to plan, we did have a lovely break. I announced I am part of the new Mums Channel on You Tube, so will be adding some vlogs just for them. Amy’s and my Vlog Stars challenge was back with the ‘A few of my favourite things’ tag. I’ve been thinking a lot recently about achieving your dreams and how to help others to achieve theirs too, so I penned 5 Things: that can make your dreams come true. I have other ideas on this subject so watch this space!

dreams come true

I ventured to Blogtacular for the first time, having watch via social media last year. It was a very different type of conference to those I have been to before, and for me inspiring but less comfortable. I was tagged in the I am the mum, which was really good fun to write and made me think of what kind of mum I actually am. Back to 5 things with 5 Things: To stop you feeling overwhelmed. I constantly feel a bit overwhelmed and so shared all the things that help me. Still a work in progress, but I am getting there! The week after Blogtacular I attended Britmums Live, definitely my happy place! I shared Top Tips from BritMums Live and Britmums Live from the heart, which was a more personal post.

I was tagged by my lovely friend Nat to share my thoughts on life ‘before I had a child‘ which I really loved doing. It seems lots of you feel the same about your pre baby lives. I struggle sometimes to ensure I am fully present, so I came up with 5 things you should do with your toddler this week and challenged you all to do them (if you have a toddler!).

Baby has a little friend who she adores more than pretty much anything in her life, I reflected in this in good old-fashioned fun and shared some super cute pictures. Then I finished the month with a blogging post, How to write a winning pitch hoping that it would make you feel more confident about pitching to brands.

So that was June in a nutshell. Let’s see what July has in store for us all!
