This week has been a bit up and down, but all’s well that ends well! Take a look at our week in pictures.
- Sunday – We went to The Baby Show at Olympia. A business that I have worked with in the past, kindly gave us tickets. Baby was keen to explore and then peaked! So we bid a hasty retreat back home.
- Monday – Baby and I went to see Em and her kiddies, which was so lovely. Although Em and I have only known each other since April, she is one of my dearest friends. The kids get on great too.
- Tuesday – We planned to potter into town, but the traffic was awful, so after Baby’s car nap we just popped to the supermarket to pick up a few things. I bagged Baby a Halloween costume for £3. We had a pretty low key day.
- Wednesday – My of my closest friends had a little boy at the weekend, so Baby and I went to visit them. It was such a horrid rainy day, so we just had a lazy afternoon at home afterwards. Although I did get to use my new Lulu Guinness brolly, which I love! Baby liked it too!
- Thursday –We went to London to a Blogger event at Hamleys, where I caught up with some lovely bloggers including Jaime Oliver. Our poor little dog went to the vets to have one tooth out and came out with only one tooth left. Poor Lou Lou.
- Friday – After a Baby night Baby woke up on fire! We took her temperature with our Braun No Touch Thermometer (which was awesome) and it was 38.1. After some Calpol it had lowered a fraction, but by the time we got to the Doctors it was a whopping 39.6. The Doctor thinks it is a bad virus and we should just keep alternating Calpol and Nurofen. Poor little mite, really wasn’t herself at all. Daddy came home early to help, as we had been up since 4.50am (after being up in the night too).
- Saturday – Baby woke up really hot (40.1!) and she has a nasty looking rash all over her. In the end, after many phone calls, she went to the hospital to get checked out. The doctor said it is a virus/viral rash. By bed time her temperature had dropped, but the rash still looked nasty.
So that’s our week captured. What have you got up to this week? x
