Last Tuesday Baby and I were invited to the media day and opening of a secret event organised by Ella’s Kitchen. We would loved to have gone, but London is quite a trek for us and Baby was a bit too poorly. Being big Ella’s Kitchen fans, I was so excited to receive the information on what actually went down!
Ella’s Kitchen created the world’s first edible forest for little ones, made entirely of organic fruit and vegetables. The toddler sized forest was designed to introduce little ones to a world of healthy eating. It featured over 600 kilos of fruit and veg and took a team of six people over 460 hours to create. The children were allowed to help themselves to tasters of over 23 different fruits and vegetables, as they explored the forest. The treats included carrot hedgehogs, pepper flowers, cherry tomato trees and lentil pathways. It sounds like so much fun!
Ella’s Kitchen have shot a little video to show you the Incredible Edible Forest!
How fabulous! What a great event to be part of, Baby would have loved it!.
