We have been through many bibs in Baby’s lifetime, lot’s of different styles and brands. We sort of got out of the habit of putting bibs on, apart from when she is eating (messy pup!). Funky Giraffe recently offered us the chance to review a set of bibs and it is such a cool brand that I couldn’t resist.
We were allowed to select six bibs to try out. This was my first problem, as there is so much choice! The prints are so modern and funky. I wanted most of them, but finally settled on these six beauties.
What the website says;
Our Funky Giraffe bandana bibs are perfect for the fashion-savvy baby and toddler. The 100% cotton front feels soft to the touch, the fleece backing keeps dribble from soaking through, and the double poppers mean you can adjust the fit.
What we thought;
Baby had got out of the habit of wearing bibs, but when I asked her if she wanted to be like Sheriff Callie and wear a bandana, she tried to put it on herself!. The bibs are so soft, that they would be comfortable to wear for the day during teething. Due to the cut of the bibs there is a little extra fabric under the chin area, which gives further protection to the clothes underneath. The bibs are excellent quality and we absolutely adore the designs, they are so bright and colourful. SO different to run of the mill bibs. These are definitely for the style conscious Baby (and Mummy!). They wash really well and still look new, the colours haven’t faded and they have retained their shape.
Baby has worn one most days, often as an accessory and I love how they add extra funkiness to her outfits. The range is so vast, that it could become a bit of an addiction….
Value for money;
Individually the bandana bibs cost £4. However, if you buy 5 bibs, which let’s face it you will want anyway, they cost £11.25 (£2.25 each) or 10 bibs for £20, which is an amazing £2 each! I think this is great value for money, a practical product which has wonderful aesthetics, for a very competitive price.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these bibs again in the future. I think they would also make a lovely present if you bought a set, as you can tailor the patterns to the recipient.
