In less than two weeks we are packing up our camping gear and heading to Wychwood Festival. Nominated “Best Family Festival” every single year in the UK Festival Awards, this will be its 12th year and the first year that we will be going. Last year, my lovely friend Em went and sung its praises so much that we can’t wait to get there this year.

What does Wychwood have to offer?
A wide variety of music from 10cc, Stereo MCs to Miss Dynamite. Comedians including headliner Bill Bailey and to entertain the kids, who better than Mr Tumble himself! Baby will be thrilled!
It offers something for everyone with over 100 bands on 4 stages, over 100 workshops for all ages, a kid’s literature festival, Real Ale Festival, great food and idyllic camping beneath the Prestbury Hills.
The campsite has areas for caravan, campervans and luxury camping options such as; Tipis, Yurts, pre-erected tents and bell tents. There are even hot showers, a campsite shop, café and a valuables lock up. The camp site is very compact and is only a short walk from the main arena. Unlike every other festival I have ever been to, campers are allowed to drive onto the campsite to set yp their tents before moving cars back to the free car park. This will be music to Mr Hubby’s ears!
Do you fancy heading to Wychwood? Weekend and day tickets are available from Wychwood Festival. We might see you there!
Disclosure: We have a family pass to Wychwood in return for an honest review.
