Earlier this week I received some fabulous news, I had made it onto the ‘Family’ shortlist for the Brilliance in Blogging Awards 2015. To say I was happy was an understatement!
I started blogging to record our family life and to preserve our memories; I didn’t even think anyone would read my little corner of the internet. Yet 20 months later, here I am, genuinely thrilled that some of you took the time to vote for me to help me make it to the shortlist. I have posted before about what blogging means to me and it is safe to say that I cannot imagine my life without my blog and the community around it.
I was in Rome at a press event when I received the news and although it was frustrating to not be able to get straight on social media, at least I was in a fabulous place to celebrate.
The voting now reopens and you have the opportunity to vote again for your favourite blog in each category (from the shortlisted 10 in each). I am thrilled (and amazed) to be nominated alongside these wonderful blogs.
This leads me onto one final favour. If you enjoy my blog, then I would be so very grateful if you could spare a couple of minutes (it is much quicker than the initial voting!) to vote for in the Family Category here.
(If you’re on a mobile or tablet, click here to vote.)
Voting closes on 15th May 2015 and the finalists will be announced on 22nd May.
Thanks again to everyone who has ever read one of my posts, and to those of you who have voted for me so far. It really would be a dream come true to progress further.
