The key to blog success is right here

Wouldn’t it be great if we could see into the future and live today with the added benefit of our experience a few years down the line?

It would be so much easier to make our decisions and plans if we had that sort of foresight.

It can be so hard to know which direction to head in and super difficult not to get bogged down by the daily ‘stuff’, not really knowing if this ‘stuff’ is contributing to us moving forward or not.

We all have a different path, but I wanted to share with you 11 things I wished someone had told me when I started my blog.

1. Just do it. The blog; something new on there; a collaboration; whatever you are passionate about, just start. You will never feel the time is right. There’s never a perfect time. Just take the leap and do it.

2. Your mindset is the most powerful thing you have. Have determination and act like you’re already living the life you want to live.

3. Take imperfect action – Done is way better than potentially perfect.

4. The number of likes and followers aren’t as important as your true fans. 100 regular dedicated readers are WAY better than 1,000 page views.

5. Try things. You won’t know whether something will work until you give it a try.

6. Don’t be overwhelmed. You’ll learn fast and you will never stop learning.

7. Make your goals a given. You will do it. Tell yourself that. You just have to believe it, then you will make it happen.

8. Have faith that you know the answer. Do what lights you up and the rest will work itself out.

9. Being uncomfortable is where the magic happens. Nothing remarkable was ever achieved in the cosiness of your comfort zone.

10. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Invest in yourself to grow personally and to grow your business. Choose the right investments for you.

11. Outsource stuff you don’t like doing. You can find people to do these tasks and it doesn’t have to cost the earth.

These lessons would have helped me so much, as I was navigating my blog in the early years. What lesson do you know know that you wish you knew then? The key to blog success is right here
