If you have a dream and a vision – excellent. What does that actually look like in revenue? Do you need to replace the income you earned in a previous job? What was that? If so, that would be your minimum monthly revenue goal. If you know that, then you can work out what you can do to achieve that each month. In the future you might have dreams that you could scale your income to twice that figure. If so when will that be by and how do you plan to do it. It’s important to focus on a streamlined path for your business, otherwise, you’re likely to be all over the place.
* Be specific
Be as specific as you can at all times with matters relating to your business and it’s future direction.
* Put it in writing
A great start is to create a business plan, this maps out all the important areas and you can find templates online. Things get messy without a structure, so save yourself a headache and write a business plan.
* Measure your goals consistently
In order for you to achieve business goals (or any sort of goals!) you need to regularly check in with them. Make sure you’re not losing sight of what’s important. Checking regularly will mean you can get back on track if things are not quite going to plan.

When creating your action plan, make certain to break down bigger projects into manageable chunks. You will be more likely to achieve the entire project without overwhelm if you tackle it chunk by chunk.
