What you can’t do with a hammer….

When I started blogging I had NO IDEA how to work with brands, none, squat, nadda! 😳 I saw everyone else doing it and I felt like I would never be able to turn my hobby blog into a business. I didn’t even know where to start. (I was lost in the wilderness… cue spooky music! 🌲) Are you wondering where the hammer comes in? Hang on, I’ll get to there… I was so overwhelmed and realised I needed WAY more skills to be able to capitalise on this potential new income stream.

Ā

I needed a system, hell, I just needed some information on how to get work with brands. I wrote SO MANY pretty rubbish emails in my early months, which probably cost me a few jobs along the way. I didn’t know how to value my blog and negotiate and was frustrated to hear bloggers securing more money for the same campaigns that I’d done 😔.

Ā

When things need fixing at home I tend to be the type of gal to grab a hammer, it’s quicker, easier and o.k, sometimes I’ll admit it, it makes me feel better too! The thing with working with brands is there are no hammers allowed šŸ”Ø!

Ā

Ā

No! Not that sort of hammer!

Ā

A LOT of what matters most is negotiation and positioning; done right THIS will ensure you get jobs AND get paid what you’re worth.

Ā

Over the years I have honed my skills and have worked with some pretty pukka brands if I do say so myself. I’ve travelled abroad multiple times and had super exciting experiences, while also earning a good income too. ALL from my couch and *mostly* while wearing a onesie…… I’m a comfort girl what can I say!

Ā

So, as I come to the end of my story I want you to think hard about continuing to go it alone. Think about how long it could take to maximise your potential without a proven system. Or you can check out my toolbox (no hammers included!) ā¬‡ļø ā¬‡ļø ā¬‡ļø ā¬‡ļø ā¬‡ļø ā¬‡ļø which will get you results without the overwhelm and in double quick time too.

Let me introduce the Brand Work Bootcamp, your ticket to get rid of the brand work overwhelm for good.
