With a toddler in the house, one thing you can be assured of in our house is that we create a LOT of rubbish. Depending on where you live, getting rid of the rubbish can be a complex task. There are different bin for various items and it can end up with your kitchen looking like a recycling plant!
We were asked by the lovely people at Joseph and Joseph if we wanted to trial the Totem 58 Recycler, seduced by its sleek style we agreed.

The Totem 58 is really flexible recycling unit which you can use the best way for you and your family. There are two separate compartments in the top section. You can use each for a different type of waste, or both for general waste as we do. The bottom drawer slides right out and can be used as one big box and divided into two.
The compartments are all easy to remove from the main unit. They have greater vents and you can use normal bin liners. It is so easy to change the bin bags; being a little higher than most bins, it is easier on your back! You can purchase an additional food waste caddy available separately, if you want to take your recycling/composting a little further.
I love the design of this bin, the stainless steel makes it look more high end than most bins on the market. It also has a special odour filter in the lid.
We love the Totem, somehow it stays cleaner than our old bin! Which is a result!
