The best onesie! Onepiece review

One of my great loves in life is to be cosy and comfy. I think I should have been born in Denmark, so I could embrace fully all things Hygge. I love comfy jumpers, scarves, blankets and twinkly lights. For a long time I have harboured a secret secret desire for a onesie. Love them or hate them, they are here to stay and quite frankly I’m glad about that.

When I was asked by Onepiece if Ava and I would like to try their onesies, I literally jumped at the chance. The chance to be cosy stylish (obviously within my own house!).

Onepiece is a leading street and loungewear brand and they are a real celebrity favourite. Their jumpsuits have been seen on the likes of One Direction, Cara Delevingne, the Kardashians and Beyoncé. They have over 2 million fans worldwide, and are one of the top 100 fashion brands on Facebook.

Ava was so keen to pick out her own onesie and obviously, being pink obsessed, opted for the Raspberry Melange. I chose this lovely wine coloured one, with the white pattern, the Lusekofte onesie.

As soon as they arrived I could tell the quality was far superior to that of the ones I’ve seen on high-street, which justifies their higher price-point.

I was keen to try mine out, as was Ava. I honestly don’t think I have ever been as comfortable as I am when wearing this onesie. To the point that I was sad when I had to put it in the wash! Ava loves hers too, always referring to it as her ‘new onesie’, which I think she will do for as long as she wears it. She also loves that we both have them, ‘let’s put our onesies on and watch a film’ has been uttered more than once.

She thought it was hysterical that the hood zip all the way to the top, and nearly took my nose off in her attempts to zip mine up. Both of ours are a little big, however for me having something that is too long is a real novelty. Being 5 foot 10 I always seem to have ankle grazers, so I love that this feels oversized. I obviously could have ordered a smaller one. I purposefully ordered Ava’s in a size bigger than she needed so it would last. The fact that there are cuffs on the ankles and arms means that being a bit too big doesn’t really matter, as we won’t trip over the legs.

We adore our onesies and I would highly recommend Onepiece to everyone looking for the epitome of comfort.
