I LOVE baking, so when I was asked to Bake Something Funny for Money, I was more than happy to agree. Red Nose Day is on Friday 13th March and I am sure we all know about the causes it supports, but did you know just how amazing it is? Over the last 14 Red Nose Days £700,000 has been raised! Wow!
For the second time, HomeSense is joining up with Comic Relief to offer a range of limited edition products to help budding bakers get messy in the kitchen and bake something funny for money. The products are in stores now (HomeSense and TK Maxx) and on the Red Nose Day shop, the range includes a Henry Holland designed apron, tea towel and a selection of leather journals featuring quirky quotations from Oscar Wilde, Hannah Horvath from Girls and Baldrick from Blackadder. How fab are they!
Armed with our lovely Henry Holland Apron we got to work in the kitchen.
I decided to bake hamburger cupcakes, as you do!
I think they turned out quite well!
The things we do for charity!
I am also dancing for 6 hours at Wembley in the #TeamHonkDanceathon, you can sponsor me here if you would like to! Oh and I WILL be in fancy dress and the evidence WILL be on Instagram.
So, if you want to Bake Something Funny for Money, get creative bake something awesome and then sell it to friends, family, collegues or neighbours in aid of comic relief.
