As regular readers will know, at the moment we’re working with Boots Mini Club as their Ambassadors and we’re loving it! Both Ava and I are clothes obsessed and so getting bundles of clothes and getting to show them off to all of you is a real treat.
We’re also lucky to live close to lots of lovely places to go to for an adventure. One such place is a local Castle, o.k it’s a small ruined Castle, but a Castle nevertheless! We love it there, it’s so beautiful. I’ve done a photoshoot for a client there and it’s somewhere we love to visit.
I always have clothes envy and these dungarees are not making the situation any easier! They are so gorgeous! However, I doubt I would ever look as cute as she does in them.
We popped on the pretty stripy top with floral pockets underneath. It’s such a gorgeous little top and very versatile.
Ava get’s so many kind compliments about her style, which is obviously fab. So I thought I’d share a few tips on creating adorable looks for your little ones.
1. Comfort first! Kids need comfort and there’s no point in them looking super cute if they’re miserable. That’s one of the wonderful things about Mini Club, their clothes are definitely the best of both worlds.
2. Always have classic pieces which are timeless and can be used with so many outfits. Some classic pieces we have always had in our wardrobe are a red woollen coat with hood, a navy cardigan, smart blue jeans and a few other things. Whatever age Ava has been you would alway find these classic staples in her wardrobe.
3. Mix it up. I personally love a mashup of styles. Tutus and Doc Martins is my idea of fashion heaven. The thing with dressing kids is they everything works AND they have the confidence to carry it off too!
I seem to believe you can never have enough Pyjamas, I think it stems from my innate desire to be comfy and cosy. What this does mean is although Ava has LOADS, I am always looking for more and I adore these gorgeous ones from the Mini Club range. They are so pretty.
