I first came across Jo Totes when I spotted one of their gorgeous camera bags on another blog. I was so pleased when they offered to send me a bag of my choice. With so many to choose from it was a really tough decision. They offer backpacks, large and small cross body bags, camera and laptop carriers, plus hip packs. All coming extra padding on the sides and bottom, with velcro padded inserts. You can position these inserts round your camera and lenses.

I thought it would be useful to have a bag that would cope with my 15″ MacBook Pro and my Canon DSLR. So I picked the Missy in chocolate faux leather.
The bag features two large exterior pockets to the front with magnetic closures for easy access. Inside is a large laptop sleeve and five adjustable interior pads to configure as you wish.
An adjustable and removable cross-body strap padded for comfort, gives you an alternative to the carrying handles. The metal feet on the base of the bag were very welcomed. I hate it when bags gets scuffed.
For its first trip out, I took it with us to Chessington World of Adventures. I wanted to be able to work in the car on my Mac and I needed my DSLR to capture the events of the day. So it was the perfect choice for me.
The Missy was perfect, even with my haphazard throwing everything in style of packing. There was a place for everything and I was confident that my equipment was protected.
The different compartments are so handy. I can keep all of the spare batteries and memory cards in one, everything was organised and to hand. So important for me as I’m usually running after a small person!
I really love the style of this bag. It’s such a departure to the normal masculine style camera bags. Refreshing also, that it’s a stylish bag in its own right. It certainly doesn’t look like it’s storing all of your camera stuff.
I’m going to Paris to a blogging conference soon and this will be perfect for me to take with me on the plane.
