This week has been quite quiet for us, not helped by the rainy grey weather, which I hate. I quite like the rain, on certain occasions, but with a baby I find it really limits what you can do to entertain them. We all know whole days in the house never end well…! So a mixed week, not helped by Baby recently discovered love of shouting…all the time. Yes, you can imagine how much fun that is. Let’s hope it is a phase, which will pass quickly!
Anyway, here is our week captured;
- Sunday – We had a quick scoot to the car boot sale and picked up another stair gate for a fiver, bargain. Now Baby is mobile we need to baton down the hatches! Then we went to Highclere Country Fair for a wander round. It was rammed!
- Monday – Baby wanted her ears on when she woke up! We had to go DIY shopping for all the paint etc that we need for our house. We did buy our living room wall paper, which was a relief as we had been searching for ages and hadn’t found anything we liked. I did some more play house painting, when will it end!
- Tuesday – I had to take my laptop to laptop hospital, as it was poorly following being repeatedly knocked on the floor by a certain baby……#NoNames…
- Wednesday – We met our friends Z and D in town for a brew and a catch up. Got some bits for Father’s Day.
- Thursday – Baby and I had a couple of errands to run and other than that we had a quiet day at home. She did insist on taking her windmill with her…
- Friday – We popped to the garden centre on the way to a play date with our friends L and O, who we haven’t seen for ages. It was lovely to see them. Baby showed off her walking legs.
- Saturday – I had an appointment in the morning, so Baby went to our local nature walk with Daddy. Then we all went into town for my styling session with Taking Shape, which was amazing! More on that soon.
So that’s our week captured. Have you had a good week?
