Our Day with Mrs T Plus Three

Last week Baby and I took a little road trip to Bristol for a very special reason.  We were going to spend the day with the gorgeous Amy and her girls.  Amy is someone who I have met through blogging and our friendship has developed into one of the very best kinds. We had only physically met one before this day, although we are in frequent contact!  Our girls had never met, so we were really excited to get the little ones together (they are both as crazy as each other, so a brilliant match) and I longed to meet the beautiful Holly (Amy’s older daughter).

After a cake stop at Amy’s house, we went pony riding!  Amy’s mother-in-law owns the most adorable pony, that we were lucky to be able to ride.  Baby is so keen on ponies and had ridden a friend’s pony the day before, so she couldn’t believe her luck when another ride was on offer.

Baby with Lily

The girls took it in turns to ride Lily round the field, each in their element.

Lily was a little reluctant at times preferring to eat the grass, but she soon got into her stride.  Totally worth her weight in gold this pony, utterly bomb proof and a compete saint. Definitely the type of pony we would want to get Baby.

Baby and Amy

The little one who wasn’t riding often helped by leading the other!  So cute!  It was wonderful to see how our girls bonded so quickly and I hope they get to play together many more times.

Baby Amy ROse

Holly is a wonderful young lady, as kind as she is beautiful and she was awesome with the little ones.  It was lovely to see them ride Lily together, with Rose holding on tight.

Amy and I enjoyed catching up and chatting while all the girls played.  I feel very lucky that blogging brought Amy and her girls into our lives.

Then it was obviously time to cool off; how do you do that?  Get in a bucket of course!

Baby even sat down in it and they both had such a laugh when they got in together!  They spent ages splashing each other and trying to soak poor Holly.  Mischievous little monkeys!

Then they needed a little dry off, so both ran round the field and went to see Lily sans clothes.

We had a truly fantastic day, thanks to Amy for being in my life.
