We have had a lovely week, with a fair bit going on. Some lovely surprises, day’s out and quieter times at home. A bit of everything really and the sun shone, what more can you ask for!
Baby’s Week
My Week
- Sunday – We went to the 1st birthday party for one of Baby’s friends. Baby got slightly obsessed by balloons. She had a bit of a sore tummy, so wasn’t quite her usual self.
- Monday – Baby and I went to our friends house. We all had lunch and then walked into town. After a little shopping we did try to start the Easter Egg Hunt, but it involved far too much walking, so we gave up!
- Tuesday – Baby, myself and our friends went to meet the stars of Ice Age. We were treated to £50 of shopping vouchers and got some more totally unnecessary clothes for Baby. We had a lovely lunch with our friends.
- Wednesday – Baby and I had to go paint shopping, for a garden project we are working on. We met Mr Hubby for lunch as he had been away overnight at a gig. Mr Hubby spent the afternoon painting. I tried to keep the dog and the Baby away from each other, but failed. I think they are BFF’s now.
- Thursday – We had a ‘stay at home and do jobs’ day. Mr Hubby did more painting, while Baby and I spent our time mostly playing.
- Friday – Baby’s Aunty and Uncle arrived and we all went to Winchester for lunch, followed by a stroll round the shops. We saw this house completely covered with little yellow chicks, so cool.
- Saturday – We did our first restaurant review at Zizzi’s in Basingstoke. It was very yummy. They used old crates as shelves, great idea. Then we bimbled around the shops, bought Baby a hat and a couple of things for her play house.
