I have been blogging now for a little over three years and in that time I have written hundreds of posts about blogging. As the months passed by I started to become known in the blogging community as a trusted source of information and people kept coming back to my blog. I feel hugely passionate about blogging and about helping others to make it work for them too. There’s no doubt that blogging changed my life beyond anything I ever expected and I’m so focused on helping others to use their blogs to change their lives too.
In order to help me to reach more people, I have decided to start offering blogging courses. I recently changed my blog theme, to help me showcase my blog’s main topics, as I felt the blogging content could have been easily missed before. I also offer exclusive content and advice through my VIP newsletter which I send every Wednesday (you can sign up in the footer or at the bottom of this post!).
I LOVE sharing content about blogging, especially when I know it has made a difference to someone. So I had to decide on my next step. It crossed my mind to write an ebook and in fact I started, however this felt a bit too passive for me. I want to be able to help people more, use different sorts of content and ensure I can share what I know in the most effective way.
The idea of an ecourse was born. The first topic on my hit list is productivity and I loved the idea of offering people a free 5 day productivity challenge. Daily workload prevented me getting started for a few months and then I decided to invest in some business coaching with Ceri from Content Mum. Ceri was fabulous, kicked my arse and within 60 hours the course was written.
My next task is to produce a series of courses, which help people to make the transition from hobby blogger to professional blogger. I have been there and from first post to pro blogger took me 18 months. It can be done and I want to show you how. As I have only recently started to write this course I am still working on the details.
