Facebook. You either love it or you hate it. Whichever camp you fall into, one thing’s for sure, Facebook can be a great way to find clients, grow your authority, make connections, make friends and so much more. There’s no doubt it can be tricky to get traction on your Facebook page without paying for ads, which makes groups even more valuable.
Facebook groups are communities of people with the same interest. Facebook groups can be a wonderful support mechanism for you and your business. In groups you can get feedback on ideas, ask for help; you might even be able to find potential collaborators and other opportunities. You can find likeminded people and you don’t have to worry about the algorithm hiding your posts!
There are so many Facebook groups and not all of them are quality or easy to find. If they’re ‘closed’ groups that you won’t find on search.
The groups I want to be part of are non-spammy (seriously some of FULL of it), full of engaged people who give correct and helpful advice. Most of all they they are supportive and non-judgemental.
Before I dig in and share 11 groups that I enjoy and that can help you build your business. I want to share my top tips to being successful in Facebook groups WITHOUT being a spammer!
- Most importantly help as many people as you can, no questions asked, for free because it’s a nice thing to do. Answer their questions, help them and engage with them.
- Don’t find a way to crowbar your link in to every comment you leave.
- Don’t only show up on promotional days. You will get noticed and not in a good way…. Give value and take part in promo day with a clear conscious, knowing you have given value 99% of the time.

SOCIAL BOSS WITH CAITLYN BACHER
Caitlyn Bacher of Social Boss is a Facebook groups expert. Her group is full of thousands of creative entrepreneurs and is a super supportive place.
FREEDOM HACKERS MASTERMIND
Based on the idea of creative your own freedom lifestyle this group hosted by Kimra Luna has over 46,000 members, so there are lots of people on hand to answer questions and to connect with.

SAVVY BUSINESS OWNERS

I hope these recommendation helps you jump in to building your business through Facebook groups. Join a couple, invest some time and see how it goes. Then you can always switch one out and try a new one. Make sure you have time to commit to engaging before you join.
