Blogging award season is upon us and I usually do what every other blogger seems to do and start canvassing for votes as soon as the polls open. I’ve been lucky enough to have been a finalist in the Brilliant in Blogging awards for the last two 2 years. Although I’ve never managed to bag the gong!
This year, with our impending relocation to France and countless other priorities I didn’t so much send out a tweet to ask people to vote for me. So you can imagine my surprise when I received the email stating that I had made the final in the social media category!
So, I wanted to put a little post up to thank each and every one of you who voted for me. It really does mean the world to me. Blogging changed my life and I’m blessed to be recognised in any way for my passion. It’s truly the most amazing thing.

Congratulations on being a finalist! I’ve followed your blog for a number of years and love how much you’ve shared with the blogging community. You have my vote for sure.
I am also a finalist in my first year of my blogging – no horn tooting either, but I will be up until the closing date you can be sure of that! Haha
