Celebrate Your Little Champion’s Moves With Jessica Ennis-Hill & Pampers

Have you heard about the Pampers #LittleChampions Campaign? Olympic Heptathalon Champion Jessica Ennis-Hill is the face of the campaign, which focuses on making sure our babies are in the right nappies for the amount of movement they do in a day. Mind-blowingly, a cruising baby can take as many steps in one day as an athlete running a marathon. Now you see why they need the right kit! Babies need a nappy that offers the best protection and comfort; one that will allow them freedom, without restriction.

Pampers have joined forces with the amazing Jessica Ennis-Hill to launch the ‘Little Champions Campaign’. Together they are shining a light on the next generation of athletes and encouraging parents to celebrate their own little champions too, by making sure they have the right kit for the job!

Baby doesn’t wear nappies anymore, but I have tested Pampers before (quite scientifically!) and found fabulous dryness. Pampers now contain revolutionary Magical Pods, which are absorbing channels which distribute the wetness evenly meaning no saggy bottoms! A big plus for easier movement!

Jessica knows how important it is to have the best kit to help her perform and she knows how important it is for her baby to also have the freedom to move in comfort:

‘As a mum I love being active with Reggie – we have so much fun together and I know that it’s great for his development – that’s why I’ve teamed up with Pampers to encourage mums to celebrate their little one’s champion moves! Our babies are the future generation of medal winning athletes after all…’

That’s why Pampers chose Jess to help them with this campaign;  a sporting champion and also mum to gorgeous little Reggie.

Pampers Love, Sleep & Play expert, Dr. Ellie Cannon explains how this further:

‘Feeling physically free and uninhibited whilst being supported and safe is an important part of a baby’s exploration of the world and physical development. Babies don’t need instructions to learn – they learn through self-discovery and encouragement from those around them. That encouragement comes in all forms: not just a clap from mum and dad, but also being unrestricted in their clothes and nappy. Freedom to move without restriction is a key aspect of your baby’s development environment’.[1]

So it’s not surprising that freedom of movement is freedom for your little one to reach their full potential, who knows they might even win their own Olympic medal one day!
