This Friday we are heading to the Isle Of Wight for a weekend break. It’s much needed, as we seem to have been plagued by illness over the last couple of weeks and Mr Hubby has been away in France. It will be lovely to have a few days away from it all, just us three.
I thought I would just share where we are staying, in case you are looking for a family friendly place for an Easter break and I will pop back next week with a full review.
We are travelling over with Wightlink Ferries and I am quite looking forward to it only being a short journey. The crossing to France (last year) was quite a long time to be on a ferry! We are staying at the stunning Chale Bay Farm. How gorgeous?! We are so excited, Baby even did a little happy dance when I showed her the pictures. Chale Bay Farm is an award winning guest house on the south-west of the island, which as you can see has amazing sea views.

Chale Bay Farm has eight modern guest rooms and a relaxing courtyard with water garden, all within its 26 acre plot. Providing luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.
As the Isle of Wight is only 23 miles wide it’s a great place for families, as you can pack so much into your trip. The Isle has a host of beaches, attractions and things to do and if you are a Chale Bay Farm guest you can reach most of them in less than a 30 minutes drive.

We are staying in one of the duplex family suites, which look wonderful. It also means that we have slightly more flexibility when Baby goes to bed (we won’t have to sit in the dark, as we do when we are all in one room!).

We have days out arranged at the Isle Of Wight Zoo and Dinosaur Isle; I am looking forward to taking lots of pictures and sharing our thoughts on these activities with you next week.
For now, I need to go and pack, but I am really looking forward to sharing our break with you when we get back.
Disclosure: We are being gifted this trip/outings in return for an honest review.
