I remember the excitement of Christmas as a child, but I also remember how I used to get almost as excited about my stocking than my main presents. I think it was because we were allowed to open our stockings as soon as we woke up and didn’t have to wait for everyone to eat breakfast first. When you are a kid, breakfast on Christmas day is a killer! I love putting together stockings and it can be quite good fun to find lovely bargains to go in them too. I found some great ideas for stocking fillers and I wanted to share them with you.

Baby has these and uses them every day, they are easy to hold and they don’t break with the pressure little ones can apply, unlike traditional crayons. Baby adores ducks and I couldn’t resist this Superman duck, I think she would love him. I remember having an etch-a-sketch as a child and this modern small version is perfect for the car or to stick in your handbag for those moments when you need to occupy your little one.
The expandable ball is a surefire hit, Baby played with one of these at a yoga event we went to and she loved it. Baby is at an age where she loves threading and so I might actually pick this seashore threading game up for her.
Frozen is a huge hit in our house and I know Baby would adore this jewellery box, she is such a typical little girl and loves her jewellery and hair clips. Having somewhere to keep all her treasures would be great.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a special festive teddy and this little snowy bunny is perfect!
