Where’s the Baby?

Baby has always LOVED us playing ‘Where’s the Baby gone?’.  It started with us covering her face/removing the cover, then she started to get the hang of removing it.  As she has got a little older she has started covering her face and uncovering, as we say ‘Where’s the Baby gone…… There she is!’.  She began pausing a little longer and chuckling when she was covered up to build the tension!.  This simple game is the only one thing that I can guarantee will cheer her up, stop her crying and generally make her life good again.

This past week or so she has taken the game to a new level, which has had us all in stitches.

I love how she has so much fun from this and it is lovely to see how it has evolved since she was little.  I’m sure it won’t be long before she will not want to play this game anymore.  So for now I am remembering it as a moment that I will cherish.

I am linking up with these lovely bloggers; Katie from Mummy Daddy Me, Jaime from The Oliver’s Madhouse and Charly from Podcast Dove.

  1. That’s cute! We do this with the blanket, A. recently worked out how to hide under it and then pull it back up, it makes him laugh so hard! It’s amazing how simple things give them so much happiness 🙂

  4. The best thing is you have this recorded. The day, three years down the line when you come across this and play it, and email it to your husband with the message “Look what I found…” and feel nostalgic for those faraway, baby-powder days – that’s when you’ll be transported back to this minute in time when the simplest of things filled a day with chuckles.
