Our Summer Scrapbook (Center Parcs’ Challenge)

The lovely people at Center Parcs have teamed up once again with Tots100 to set the monthly bloggers challenge.  The wildcard winner will receive a break at a fabulous Center Parcs location.

This month is all about capturing moments from your summer excitement.

“Create a scrapbook by sticking in different mementos of your summer “

When I think back over the summer so far, we have already had a fabulous time.  One thing that stands out is how many new experiences (firsts!) Baby has had on these trips.  Sometimes these ‘firsts’ have been something simple, but there have been some pretty big moments too!  Check out our scrapbook below to see what she has been up to!

Cotswold Wildlife Park

Finkley

Lepe

Wellington

At every new place we visit, we buy Baby a keyring.  I then attach a tag and put the details of the day out on it.  These are all stored, with our other bits and bobs in her large hat box!  We hope to be able to add many more mementos to it before the summer is over.

Baby also recently had her first solo trampoline adventure on a recent family day out.   I have shared this video previously, but I love it so much and it is a very important first!

  1. You’ve done loads and the scrap book effect is lovely. I use scrap booking software but haven’t integrated it with my blog, much, maybe I will think about it!

You’ve done so much! I wish we were able to do as much, maybe one day 🙂

  2. What a fabulous idea with the key rings and what a wonderful time you have had so far!! Love her YIKES face at the giant turtles 🙂 Good Luck with your entry! xx

  3. I love this digital scrap book idea, I really need to look into doing something the same, I’ll add it to my never ending to do list, but where I keep adding, it never get’s shorter! I noticed one of the scrapbook images was from Wellington Country Park, we regularly go there ourselves as we live just down the road from there in Reading!

Also love the keyring idea, it upset’s me on how much I have not documented of Spud’s life and promise every day to take more photo’s!

Good luck on the competition lovely xx

  4. This is the most adorable blog post I have seen. What a great way to create treasured memories. We always buy a magnet and stick it on our fridge.
