What do you look for in a hotel? Great service, wonderful facilities, comfy beds, easy access… if you’re a parent, you will probably be grateful for anything that occupies the children for a while you unpack and settle in. This is where QHotels ‘The Quackers Pack’ comes in. This pack is left in family rooms as a lovely welcome.
QHotels has asked for help to revamp these packs, so we had a think about what we thought Baby would like during a hotel stay and here is what we came up with.
We kept a couple of things from the original pack, the voucher off a future stay (which is a wonderful idea), crayons (a must!) and the postcard. Adding in a rubber duck to make bath time at the hotel more fun. Bubbles as all kids love bubbles, FACT! A small cuddly toy may offer some comfort and a little friend to play with. A packet of raisins will be useful to occupy your children, while you are unpacking and some stickers may extend this time long enough for you to be able to have a cup of tea too!.
We would love to be family ambassadors for QHotels. Our family is made up of a Northerner (Me!), a Southerner (Mr Hubby) and a travelling novice (Baby). Mr Hubby and I don’t get the opportunity to stay in hotels that often and Baby has never been on holiday or to a hotel. As a couple when we did get the opportunity, we liked it to be special. For me it has to be aesthetically pleasing!
We grab every opportunity to show Baby new things and encourage her to have new experiences. So…….
We are an honest family. While we are not diva-ish in our demands, we value good customer service and excellent facilities. We would love the opportunity to work with QHotels to give them the family perspective.

Staying hotels with young children can be quite tricky. It would be nice to have something that made them feel welcome.
I hope you do get to be ambassadors, I think it is nice when they take perspectives of families into account x

Staying in hotels in hotels with little kiddies is never easy so being able to read reviews from a parents perspective can be extremely helpful when booking potential hotels
