This time last week I was setting off on my adventure to Rome.  I am going to share a post about my experience, but thought I would share 5 Things; I Love About Rome.

• They serve cake for breakfast!  Yes this is number one, despite the beauty of the Colosseum and the Pantheon…

• It has the most amazing mix of historical and modern buildings/culture.  I felt as if I was walking through a movie set, as I ascended the Palatine Hill and picked my way over the cobbles in the Roman Forum.

• No matter how long you stay there, you would always have something new to see.

• I made some great new friends and it was wonderful to share the experience with them.

• The food really is spectacular and the fact that they enjoy a tipple is a bonus!
