5 Things; To Achieve Before The End Of The Year

Welcome back to ‘5 Things’, can you believe we are half way through the year!  No, me neither, it is racing by.  Back in January I wrote a post sharing my 2015 goals and thought it was about time to reassess and refocus for the last 5-6 months on the year.

5 things to achieve before the end of the year

  • Make Live. Love. Blog a commercial proposition.  We love our new collaborative blog and we have so many ideas for its future direction.  Before the end of the year I would love it if it started to pay its way.  Then we can put some of our other plans into action and I can’t wait for those!  So exciting!
  • Lose 5 stone.  One of my original targets, back in January, was to get to my goal weight. However, I hit a stumbling block and there have been times when I have struggled with my weight loss mission.  I had reached almost 4 stone, but more recently have slipped and have ended up putting over a stone back on.  I am back on track now and need to focus and look to the end of the year.
  • Increase my blog stats and following by 10% –  I am really pleased with how my page views and social media following is growing, but growth is the name of the game.  With this in mind, a 10% increase should give me something to focus on for the remaining months of 2015.
  • Start writing a book – I haven’t got much more than the idea, and if I am honest even that is a bit sketchy at the moment too.  However, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
  • Be done with PND – I am sick of being on medication and tired of not feeling 100% like me anymore.  So, before the end of the year I would like to be able to say I used to have PND.

So wish me luck!

What would you like to achieve before 2015 comes to a close?

  4. I think to have goals is brilliant and yours are all really positive which is great but try not to put too much pressure on yourself especially where the PND is concerned. Not everyone’s the same but for me I found just rolling with it and not focusing on it too much worked. I tried coming off the meds too soon which made things much worse. The weight loss is fantastic and I bet achieving some of your goals already at only halfway through the year has already made you feel more positive and motivated well done!

  5. Those are great goals to try and achieve by year’s end. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve set any goals for this year other than to write more blog posts and try and reach out to a larger audience. #thelist

  6. Wow you are really focused, good luck with it. I had no idea you had PND, so that must be a good thing, right?! I don’t really have any specific goals like this, just to keep writing what I love and have more adventures with my boy. Remember to have fun and enjoy life! Sabrina xx
