5 Things; We Will Love This Summer

Welcome back to ‘5 Things’, my anything goes series.  With the Summer holidays on the horizon I thought I would share the things we will love this Summer.  Although Baby is not at school yet, her pre-school shuts for the summer so she too will have a Summer holiday.

What we will love to do this summer

  • Catching up with friends

We have a few dates in the diary and plan to add lots more.  We have friends whose kiddos are at school and so the holidays is by far the best time to catch up with them.  We will be going to Bristol to see Amy from Mr & Mrs T Plus Three, heading to Cheltenham to hug very tightly Em from Snowing Indoors and venturing Hertfordshire way to see Katy from What Katy Said.  Hopefully, we will get some other meet ups organised too.  One of our good friends is finishing work at the start of the summer holiday, so our girls will be able to play together lots this summer.

  • Going abroad with Baby for the first time

We are so excited to be heading to Eurocamp in France in September.  It will be Baby’s first trip abroad and I haven’t been to France since I was three.  As we are moving there in 2017, it is probably time I headed back there!  We are really looking forward to this fantastic opportunity.

  • Days out

Although Mr Hubby will still be at work, we hope to make the most of the weekends, when we are all together.  Baby and I will also head out to some solo days out, such as the Living Arrows meet up and the NetWalking in Windsor Park.  No doubt a few more blogging events will crop up.  We will definitely be heading to the beach as a family as we love it there, whatever the weather.

  • Our first family festival

At the end of this month we are heading to Camp Bestival to be Official Bloggers.  Mr Hubby and I both attended lots of festivals when we were younger, but this will be our first time at a family festival and the first time camping with Baby.  Lots of other lovely bloggers are going and I think it is going to be awesome.  I am sure Baby will love it.  I worry slightly how we will manage her and whether she will turn feral, but I’m sure it will be o.k in the end!

  • Capturing all our special moments

It is no secret that I adore taking photos and videos.  This summer I want to increase the number of videos I make, but continue to enjoy capturing our special family moments in pictures and on film.

What will you love this summer?
