A Day with Friends

Last week Baby and I set off on little road trip to meet up with the wonderful Katy from What Katy Said and her two gorgeous girlies.  Katy has already blogged about the day and I must admit her lovely post made me cry, just so lovely of her.  Without wanting to replicate Katy’s post, I just want to say that blogging is a wonderful thing and has brought so many truly amazing people into my life.  I am blessed that Katy is one of these people and also so lucky that we are close enough to be able to meet up occasionally.

I thought this was very apt for a meeting place for friends.  Baby first met Little G and Little L when we were at Bluestone on holiday at the same time.  Although Little G is about a year and a half older than Baby, they were as thick as thieves all day, running around and holding hands, too cute!

Grace & Baby

The girls chose to have their lunch in this little house, who are we to argue!

Baby and Little G were just adorable helping each other, one never far away from the other.

No trip to a playground would be complete without a go on the slide!  O.K. so LOTS of go’s!

Even Katy and Little L had a go.

The grounds surrounding the playground were beautiful, such gorgeous colours everywhere you looked.

Have you ever tried to get three kiddos looking at the camera at the same time?!  Well done Little L!

time for bubbles

In true Mary Poppin’s style Katy produced bubble liquid (in a huge vat) and lots of bubble making tools from her pram, which the kids loved.

Choo Choo!  All aboard!

Baby and I had a wonderful day catching up with friends, Katy and I had time to chat about everything, including our new blog, which we are so excited about.  All too soon it was time to say our goodbyes, but I know we will be having another day out soon.

Here is a little video I made of our day.

Have you made any wonderful friendships through blogging?
