Baby turned 21 months old today. She is getting so grown up now and is so tall (like Mummy and Daddy).
Her personality flourishes a little more each month. She gets feistier, brighter, funnier and has comedy timing that belies her age. Sometimes it is hard to be the sensible Mummy!
Every day she makes me so frustrated I could scream, then minutes later I am laughing out loud at her antics or being the recipient of a huge hug.
She has mischief written right through her and is never happier than when she is up to something.
This month our Christmas tree ended up looking like the dog had been at it, as she would not leave the decorations alone. At. All. Ever.
She certainly knows her own mind and has started frowning, waving her hands in front of herself and saying ‘no, no, no’, when she doesn’t want to do something. I have found that it is always better to try to make her think something is her idea, a lot less dramas that way.
She is so caring to everyone she meets and is always taking things to her little friends. Their toys or drinks and she loves cuddling them, as she does our dogs.
I love watching her when she gets excited, as she runs of the spot.
She will practice and practice something new until she gets it right, like walking down stairs. I am often in awe of her determination.
She spends most of the day chattering away and is quite good at learning words, she only links two together at the moment. Usually copying me when I say ‘good girl’, but has also learned ‘thank you’.
It is worth all the pain and sadness we experienced trying to have her, to have a few minutes in her company. I am so blessed that I get to be with her all the time. I am one lucky mummy.

This is such a lovely post. Baby is only a few months older than Little Miss H. It is such a lovely age but full of challenges. It is amazing how they change daily. Your Baby sounds gorgeous (just like her mummy). I hope that I get to meet her at somepoint. Hugs Mrs H xxxx

A lovely post. It’s nice to hear how her speech is doing…I have nothing to compare Sprog with really but he’s almost 17 months and has just a couple of words.
