The Christmas Tag

I have been nominated for the Christmas Tag by the lovely Katy from What Katy Said and Nikki from Keeping Strong and Moving Forward, thank you ladies.

Christmas Tag

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

I love most Christmas movies, the cheesier the better!  Last year, as Baby was quite young and not really into TV, I watched so many Christmas films. In fact, Christmas 24 was pretty much on loop in our house.  I think The Holiday is my favourite.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or on Christmas day?

Oh Christmas Day!  After breakfast, I usually make piles of everyone’s presents and then we open them all together.  I had a friend when I was younger that was only allowed one present each hour! Torture!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

My favourite Christmas memory was only last year.  Our first Christmas as parents.  Watching Baby experience her very first Christmas was very special to us.

4. Favourite festive food?

Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.  My sister-in-law cooks for us and she is a fab cook.  There is always enough to feed an army.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

Anything that has thought behind it.  I can’t bear it when you get something from someone who knows you well, that has no thought behind it.  This year Hubby has bought me a ticket to Blogtacular!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I love ALL Christmas scents!  They all add to the magic.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Before we came parents, we didn’t.  Now we have Baby we give her a Christmas eve basket, leave out a mince pie/drink/carrot for Santa and the reindeer’s and sprinkle reindeer dust on the lawn.  We also read her the night before Christmas.

8. What tops your tree?

A silver star.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

All I can remember wanting was a pony.  I did get one when I was ten, but sadly it was as a result of my dad’s insurance money when he passed away.  Not a Christmas present.

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

Being with family and seeing the happiness on people’s faces when they open their gifts.

As I have left this so late, I cannot tag anyone.  Thanks again ladies for nominating me.
