I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalised here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- The Great British Bake Off. I should be bitter, as I applied and didn’t even get interviewed, but I can’t hold a grudge I LOVE it! #TeamBerry
- That every time Baby sees anything that resembles a train she says ‘choo choo’
- Watching the Strictly Come Dancing launch show! #CoverMeInSequins!
- Wandering round the shops with Baby beside me #NoBuggy
- That Baby very quickly found the shelf in the toy shop that contained ITNG & Doc McStuffins toys and stood squeaking, while pointing to them.
- That Mr Hubby came home early from work and took the dogs for their vaccinations, to save me wrestling Baby and two yappy dogs into the vets.
- The smell of Baby’s freshly washed hair.
- Our Mummy Daughter trip to the forest.
- Trying to teach Baby to bounce, using our bed as her trampoline.
- That lots of people join in with mine and Hannah’s new linky, The List
So what are you grateful for this week?
I am linking up with This Enchanted Pixie’s 52 weeks of gratitude,
Honest Mums Brilliant Blog posts and
Let’s Talk Mommy’s Share with Me linky.

Oh I love the bakeoff too. I would never think to enter though! Certainly lots of reasons to be cheerful
I’m grateful for school starting again lol! I love my kids but they get bored easily and don’t enjoy each other’s company much!
I am a few weeks behind on GBBO so I am avoiding all talk of it because I like it so much ha x
A baby and two dogs. You must be kept busy, where do you find the time to bake? There’s always next time for GBBO, don’t give up on it x

To be honest I do a lot less since Baby has come along! x
That’s very brave of you to apply for Bake Off. I don’t think I could ever do anything like that.
This is such a fab idea and a great way of keeping your mind positive!

You need GBBO in your life 🙂 x
What a lovely post – I was on holiday this part week – very grateful for that 🙂 x
I love your round ups – I smiled with Baby ‘squeaking’ at ITNG – squeaks is a pet name for my daughter who used to (still does) squeak at exciting things!
How sweet that she says choo choo whenever she sees something that looks like a train. I think children can make you smile just doing every day mundane things 🙂 x
GBBO is my favourite thing to watch. We all get excited with each new episode!
I love GBBO! Also, the smell of my daughter’s freshly washed hair. Another great list!
