I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- Finding a fab skirt (size medium!) in the H&M sale for £3.
- I had a few moments this week when back pain made me wince, each time Baby would say ‘Mama’ and then ‘Dada’ pointing to me. Love her concern, but don’t want to ever make her worried.
- That when tidying up mega blocks, if I put them in the bag stuck together; Baby will retrieve them, separate the pieces and put them back in the bag.
- That every time we go down a hill in the car Baby says ‘Weeeeeeeeeee’.
- Making Baby’s 2nd Birthday cake.
- Dancing in the park with Baby.
- Making plans for an awesome weekend of Baby birthday celebrations.
- Having an hour to go shopping, while Hubby sat with napping Baby in the car.
- Handing Baby her bath toys one by one, and her saying ‘kank -oo’ each time.
- Watching how much fun Baby had on the death slide (ably assisted by Mummy).
So what are you grateful for this week?

I love all these gratitude posts I’m reading, so glad there are people that are willing to show what they are thankful for. Great stuff (and sounds like you had a good week).

Oh I just wrote it as a list too because I ran out of time, I am glad that I have not broken the rules ha! This is a lovely list, I think the cake is going to gorgeous, I can’t believe the picture was your first attempt at modelling. Children are such a great distraction, I hope you are ok! Happy Birthday to Baby, I bet she has a lovely time x

Thanks lovely, she is a bit cute! 😉 x
You are lucky – an hour for shopping just for you? That would never happen in my world! The 2nd birthday planning sounds fun – I promised myself to plan the 2nd better than I did with the 1st, I’m terrible at planning. A gratitude list is quite therapeutic, I agree. I can’t manage a weekly one but I do a monthly list and it helps me see tthe positive side to things.

Oh I normally get zero time on my own, have no family to have Baby even for half an hour, so it has been almost 24/7 for the last two years. It is so important to be thankful.
