My Happy List #126

I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day.  Then, they are immortalised here on the page, so I will always remember.

This week I have loved;

  • I played a game with Ava where she had to find items which represented words on cards, i.e spotty, rough, red etc. I loved the way her mind worked. It really surprised me and made me smile.

  • Buying a new coat in a MUCH smaller size.

  • Agreeing to go and review Efteling in the Netherlands in January.

  • Our new cooker. The old one was burning hot or off, so it’s novel to be able to simmer something.

  • When a veteran gave Ava a poppy bracelet and I started to try to explain to her what they’re for. She just scooted off saying ‘they are to remember the soldiers mummy’. Heart swell.

  • Looking forward to BlogFest. Whoop!

  • The buzz about my 2016 Wrap party. It’s free and you can sign up here.

So what are you grateful for this week?
