I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- Listening to Baby role playing, sometimes even her feet talk to each other!
- Our Sunday walk in the snowdrop woods. Baby kept on making up stop while she consulted the map and chattered about the directions, then we were allowed to walk again.
- The most amazing Red Velvet cake on Mother’s Day.
- Going back to Slimming World (online membership) after so many years.
- Baby announcing they had made me a card when it was meant to be a surprise.
- Getting some bargain fancy dress costumes for Baby’s birthday fancy dress rail that I am putting together for her.
- Baby’s crazy reappearing after her being so sick at the start of the week.
- Seeing my Sister-in-law albeit for a quick lunch.
- Another blogger making the comment that I inspire them to improve their photography every day, such a lovely thing to say.
- Looking forward to a weekend away (we are away now!)

Ah just gorgeous! I love the idea of a dressing up rail as a gift. Though we have 30+ costumes already so maybe just the rail would do… I’m following your travels on instagram, it looks lovely..
