I love the process of writing a weekly happy list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- Baby’s little face when she held a 2 day old chick at the farm.
- Playing basket ball with Baby, a hula hoop and a balloon!
- Baby teaching her Reindeers to count to ten in French.
- Passing 17,000 followers on Twitter.
- Lots of lovely people mentioning me in their award nomination posts.
- Carrying a tray, to hear Baby say ‘wow steady madam!’
- In the supermarket Baby shouted look at the marshmallows when we walked past the mushrooms!
- Collecting Baby from nursery and asking her what she painted (as her hands were dirty) and she looked me straight in the eye and said ‘my hands’. Can’t really argue with that one.
- Baby teaching her reindeers to do Ballet (Reindeers ably assisted by Daddy). Starting with ‘Now listen up Reindeers’!
- Having fun doing a photoshoot with Baby for her 3rd birthday. She is such a pro.
- Losing another 3lb (1/2 a stone gone in 2 weeks)

My girls always get marshmallows and mushrooms mixed up, I love it when they get things muddled, it’s so cute and funny. I want to meet these French speaking, ballet dancing reindeers, they sound like a lot of fun! They obviously have a very good teacher and I’m glad to hear they do as they are told
