I Got 99 Problems…Or Have I?

No I haven’t gone all ‘down with the kids’ and I don’t often listen to Jay-Z bleating on about his ‘issues’.  No, I have been tagged by my wonderful friend Em over at Snowing Indoors in her fun tag to find out how many problems we REALLY have.

I got 99 problems

So here goes;

  1. I am not slim.
  2. Ice cream does not burn calories (I know, shocking, but it doesn’t!)
  3. I want a clean house, but detest cleaning and can’t afford a cleaner.
  4. Having to get out of bed to see to Baby the second I get in bed.
  5. Our neighbour sometimes sounds like Nelly the elephant crashing around her house.
  6. Baby tantrums…. need I say more….
  7. Nice food is bad for you and food that is good for you tastes bad (so unfair!).
  8. Baby emptying her wardrobe, as fast as I am trying to refill it.
  9. I would love to be able to sing and I sound like a strangled cat.
  10. I can’t work cling film.  Nightmare stuff!
  11. Baby saying ‘my turn, my turn’ even when it’s no-ones turn!
  12. I love baking, but have no-one to bake for. Mr Hubby and Baby aren’t fans of cakes.
  13. I hate falling asleep at my PC, yet it happens at least half of the week.
  14. I have to declutter my house, but I just keep adding more clutter.
  15. My friends live too far away.
  16. Baby running off and saying ‘catchy me’ when I just want to get on with whatever I am trying to do to her.
  17. My dogs moult A LOT.
  18. Only two takeaways deliver to us (probably a blessing!..)
  19. It costs loads to get into London from our house.
  20. There aren’t 30 hours in a day.
  21. Having to pee with the door open and Baby demands I continue our conversation.
  22. I hate Spiders and it would appear they love our house.
  23. There are only two Despicable Me films.

So it turns out I don’t have 99 problems!  Woo hoo!  How many problems do you have?

  2. This is a fun list and one I think most mothers (or any parent, really) would enjoy writing and nodding to! 🙂

  3. Haha wouldn’t it be great if ice-cream burned calories! I’d be so skinny.. I hate spiders too, in the last few days I’ve had 2 massive ones inside our house. I found a third who’d drowned in the rain outside our patio door, no doubt wanting to get into the warmth. Don’t they know they’re really NOT welcome?! I love the Despicable Me films, I saw the second one in the cinema all alone when I was pregnant and I bawled my eyes out! They so need to make more! x #TheList

  4. Why does every nice food have to be so bad for you…?
Clingfilm is awful stuff and every week I wish I could afford a cleaner *sigh*

  5. Loved this. My number 1 problem is ‘helpful babies’. Oh, you’re stacking the dishwasher, mummy? Let me help! Oh, you’re hoovering? Let me chase you all over the house while I get in the way! Oh, you’resorting the laundry? Would it help it I took everything out of the laundry basket and threw it on the floor? No? What an ungrateful mummy I’ve got.

And as for spiders… I daren’t think of the monsters that must be lurking in our utility room. #thelist

  6. I love this and in the small picture I agree with most of your problems that are a parenting problems that I have too hahaha on a bigger scale I think some people don’t realize they don’t actually have as many problems as they think they have until they go to write them down. Great tag. Thank you for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme
