It’s Mums’ List time with the amaze-balls Hannah over at Mums’ Days. Mums’ List allows us to share the highlights (personal and blogging) of our week and also the things that still need to be ticked off our Mums’ Lists!
Ok, so I am writing this sat outside the Welsh Mountain Zoo, with no signal (as we are up a mahoosive mountain), ah how we rely on technology!…. Baby is ill, with a stinking cold and more teeth coming through. So she is having a much needed nap in the back before we go in.
REAL LIFE
- This week, I have met real life bloggers, which was fab and I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with Em , Hannah and Michelle, all amazing ladies.
- As mentioned, Baby and I are currently in Wales. It is a bit hardcore without Daddy to help, especially as I have had banging head and sore teeth (teething?!) for a few days.
- Baby saw her cousin again (it was the second time they had met) and they adore each other, which is so lovely to see.
BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA
- My most popular new blog post this week has been this one about my first BritMums experience.
- Well obviously BritMums comes into this section. What a great opportunity to meet like minded people and to learn new things. My two posts about it are here and here. Once again I would like to thank my sponsor for the event, Puckababy.
- New blog discovery; this week I have found and loved Little Button Diaries (such a pretty blog with great ideas).
- One thing that has come from BritMums is the idea of collaborating with other bloggers and sharing the love. So I will have to get my thinking cap on.
- I am barely getting the day to day stuff done, so I think I need to take a step back from some of the commenting I do to give me more time. I am constantly chasing my tail, barely having time to write and definitely not having any time to do any techy stuff, contact people or anything else.
INSPIRATION
- I would say most of my inspiration this week has come from the people I met at BritMums. These bloggers just inspire you to do better and keep going.
- I need some inspiration for our kitchen as it will have a mini makeover soon. I picked a cute nautical blind (in a sale) now I am worried it says bathroom! So I have tried to find other nautical looking kitchens to convince myself it works. Not sure it does…. May take the blind back!
Why not pop over and have a read of some other Mums’ lists.
If you enjoyed reading this post, why not

Thanks! I must confess I took the blind back yesterday. I did find another but it was £309! Xx
Thank you for upgrading me to amaze-balls. About time really 😉 It was so great to meet you too – can you believe it was only 2 weeks ago?! I think you’re right to maybe step back a little from the commenting – there has got to be an easier way to get traffic or at least a balance of the two…I for one need to do more reading (and when I feel appropriate commenting) as i just don’t do enough and so don’t feel I know the ‘space’ well enough to see where I fit!!
It’s a proper juggling act this blogging lark, innit?!
I think that might be my favourite picture of baby to date – the love between the two of them is just LUSH! I hope you’re feeling better and the rest of your Welsh trip was a success 🙂 xxxx

Well I thought so! Yes you too. I think it is a balancing act and finding out what works for you. We will get there in the end (wherever there is!) 🙂 Thank hn xxx
