Mums' List #3 - You Baby Me Mummy

I am joining in again with the fabulous Hannah over at Mums’ Days with her linky, in which we can share the highlights of our week. From our personal lives and also from our blogs.

REAL LIFE

We have spent all week preparing for baby’s first Birthday party, making cakes and decorations. I have tried to get ahead with my posts as I know it will be difficult to find time over the weekend. Baby’s party is on Saturday, but her actual birthday is on Sunday and we have family staying with us. So by the time you read this post I will probably be knee deep in birthday cake and balloons, or in a sugar coma if you visit later in the day.

SOCIAL

Nothing has changed on this front for me this week. I am still not able to dedicate anymore time to any social networks. I wish I had a whole day to sort them all out and get up to speed. To be fair though, if I am wishing for stuff it would probably be a lottery win and not to understand Google + better…. May be just a bit more time to actually read some of the many blogs that I love so much.

BLOG

I received some great news this week. Baby and I have been chosen to be Brand Ambassadors. We are currently finalising details and then I will be able to share more information. We are very excited to be given such a great opportunity and we are looking forward to getting started. We have a few reviews going on at the moment, which are always fun. I could do with sorting our another competition, as I haven’t currently got one running on the blog. I have started to use Evernote again, to help keep all my ideas in one place.

I hope you enjoy baby’s birthday weekend. I really meant to comment on your birthday present idea post because it’s Gwenn’s birthday on Easter Sunday and we still haven’t bought her “main” present. We have seen a teepee too, but it was £85 and I’m thinking “Who am I buying this for, really?” It will probably end up in my room and I will sit in it with the laptop!

Lottery over google + every time! Congrats all round on birthdays and getting your brand ambassador!! Great news 🙂 xxx

I know it’s mean but I didn’t get Reuben and thing for his first birthday or Christmas!! We sort of but things as we need them and he got do much stuff from relatives, I didn’t see the need! Got all sorts for his 2nd though – books, PJs, a bookcase (that Beth’s husband is making!), dinosaur, little diggers. Been collecting since the January sales! I wonder how much will last until August..?!
