Mums’ List #7

Writing lists clears my head a little and makes me feel a little more in control (usually!).  So, I am joining in again with the fabulous Hannah over at Mums’ Days and her linky, which allows us to share the highlights (personal and blogging) of our week.

Mums' List

REAL LIFE

  • The builders have left our house in a decorative mess and so now almost every room needs decorating.  I need to decide on colours, find supplies and also find some money to pay for it!  Yikes!
  • Baby and I enjoyed our trip up North seeing family, but we did miss Mr Hubby.
  • My birthday is next week.  How did I get that (*ahem* 37) old!
  • I met up with my sister, who I haven’t been in contact with for the past 11-12 years (more on that next week).

BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • I attended my first blogging conference – Blog Camp UK and had a great time.  I met other real life bloggers and tried to soak up as much information as possible.
  • I was chosen to be a #MorrisonsMum hooray!  So yesterday we did our Bank holiday shop, post coming soon.
  • Tomorrow I am hosting #TWTWC for Hannah from Make, Do & Push, who is off on a little holiday.  So why not pop back and link up your week.
  • I am still pondering over my new linky idea.  To be honest, I have not had much time to do anything about it during this last week.
  • I have lots of posts to write…..

INSPIRATION

  • I need lots of decoration ideas.  With this in mind I have started putting together a Bathroom Pinterest Board, I do love nautical stripes!
  • I feel like I gained lots of inspiration from Blog Camp.  Meeting people who have made blogging their living and people for whom blogging was the start of other things, was eye opening.

Why not pop over and have a read of some other Mums’ lists.

  1. My lists to leave all but one small person here with their dad whilst I was in GOSH with the remaining one were impressive lol, not sure the fridge door will ever look the same again! Well done on the Morrison’s award!

  3. Sorry to hear about the builders leaving your house in such a mess. We’ve nearly finished the decorating now and after 3 months of it I’m ready to see the back of it now! I’m a #MorrisonsMum as well and will be doing my shop tomorrow or Monday morning. Can’t wait!

It is a bit of a nightmare really, there is stuff to do in every room. Glad yours is almost sorted and have fun at Morrisons x

  4. I live by lists, as I find it really hard these days to actually remember all the things I need to do without ending up with washing machine head. Think I may join in on this one – thank you for sharing 🙂

There is always so much to do and all the extra stuff you could be doing too. Very good though, like being busy. Have a lovely weekend and I will see you later for #TWTWC xx

  6. I love lists, they keep me sane! For some reason they always work better when they’re handwritten for me – I’ve tried so many list apps and none seem as productive as a paper and pen! Good luck getting through everything 🙂

Thank you. Would be more fun if we had a baby sitter, can’t do much as we are always playing with Baby. Need professionals on the job I think x

  9. Having recently had work done on the house you have my sympathy, although the satisfaction once it is done is rewarding. Hope you enjoyed Blog On xx

  10. Lovely to hear you really benefited from Blog camp, I can’t wait for Britmums although I’m very nervous! Also great to hear you enjoyed your visit up north and saw your sister after so long. I’m sure you had our reasons but I hope all is sorted 🙂 xx

  11. Oh I bet Blogcamp was great! So jel! But makes me look forward to Britmums more now 🙂 Have you written a post about it? I’ll have a look back through your posts!

As for bathrooms – nautical aaaaaaall the way! We have a lush screen print of a lighthouse done by my mate in our bathroom and although the ways are a bit boring (just a sort of grey/duckegg), we’ve added some interest with stripy doorknobs and towels. Love it!

Good luck with it and thank you for linking in my lovely! #MumsList
