My Happy List #78

I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day.  Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.

The Happy List

This week I have loved;

  • Watching Baby in her first Nativity.

  • Orange is the New Black on NetFlix.

  • Cuddling with Baby watching Toy Story.

  • Finding out that ProBlogger Darren Rowse had linked to my blog! Nearly died!

  • Baby’s face when she came downstairs to see the Christmas tree.  Then she said ‘Mummy go get the party’ while pointing to the kitchen.

  • After Baby watching me make Mr Hubby’s beer advent calendar and me telling her to shhhh don’t tell Daddy. The first thing she said when he came home was, ‘Daddy daddy, shhhh, presents for Daddy’!….

  • Walking through town with Baby (on her reins) and she started to step onto a zebra crossing and put her hand out saying ‘Stop Car’.

  • Starting a wonderful project with one of my best friends.

  • Mr Hubby having some extra time off this week.

  • Baby asking myself and her Daddy to watch her do a big jump (in reality a small drop from a chair to the floor). Every time her daddy stood too close she would put her hand up and say “Stand back Daddy!’. Then she performed her amazing act of bravery and told us to clap her.

So what are you grateful for this week?

  1. Love Baby telling you to “go get the party” and “ssh presents for Daddy” – so hard keeping secrets with little ones around! 🙂

  2. Love baby telling you to stand back. I think as adults we forget just how far those jumps actually are for toddlers. She deserved that clap. I love baby’s little leather jacket in the photo so trendy and yet cute too. Another fabulous week hun x #happydays

  3. I love reading about Baby’s antics – she is such a little character! I can just imagine her telling her daddy to stand back while she jumped lol. #HappyDays
