It’s weigh in time! I am following the Diet Chef plan and have been since October.
I progressed rapidly at the start and was hugely focused, which resulted in 4 stone loss in a few months. Even over Christmas I wasn’t too naughty, I only had one day off. This year a few holidays/events have left me feeling a little off track. Sometimes life takes over and your good intentions are left a little by the wayside.
I don’t think I am the first person to feel this way and so I came up with a few things to help me stay focused on my end goal.
- Imagine yourself as the person you hope to become. Visualisation is such a positive tool, so harness the power of the mind and imagine yourself living your life the size you want to be.
- Focus on a event/specific date in the calendar. This gives you a target, even if it is an interim target.
- Buddy up. The support of someone else in the same position as you, can make all the difference. They could exercise with you or even just be email support if you feel yourself reaching for the eclairs…
- Don’t beat yourself up if you slip up. This will just lead to a cycle of negativity, which never ends well. If you slip up, move on with a positive mindset.
- Drink lots. Keeping hydrated will make you feel a bit fuller. Sometimes we can feel hungry when we are actually dehydrated.
I don’t feel like I have had a win this week diet wise. Long term dieting is such a struggle and I guess the fact that I am still going is my win.
Weight lost
-1lb (total 3 stone 10 lb)
Total inches lost (across 10 measurements)
– 1″ (total 64″)
The programme I am on would cost £8.75 per day. However, if you order a 12 week supply this daily cost reduces to £6.61 (this is for all three meals and a snack). Check the website for great offers.
Disclosure: I am being sent Diet Chef hampers in order to review the programme. All opinions are 100% honest and are my own.
