I am always so shocked when it’s time to write my monthly post round up; the year is rocketing past. X-Factor has started and the Strictly line up has been announced, both signal the run up to Christmas for me. So here are some of my favourite posts from August.
I really enjoy writing my ‘Blog Club’ posts and How to find your blogging voice & why you need to proved to be a popular post with the bloggers out there.
Baby and I whipped up some Ice cream cone cakes, who knew cones could be used as cupcake cases!
We were so happy to be Camp Bestival bloggers and we started our series of review posts 22 things our 2 year old loved about Camp Bestival, next up was Camp Bestival – Our Highlights from an adult perspective.
I took over 1250 photos at Camp Bestival and recorded some of my favourites in Camp Bestival Captured. Lots of people had remarked that we were brave (or stupid!) to take our 2 year old to a festival, so I wrote Surviving Camp Bestival with a toddler in the hope that others would see it is a great family break and not scary at all.
I was bought up riding and so buying Baby’s first riding kit was such an awesome moment for me! She looks so cute too! I returned to Blog Club and shared how to create an awesome community for your blog.
I am blessed to have made lots of true friends through blogging and I wrote about our day with Mrs T (Plus 2!), which was awesome.
We went live with our fun Vlog Stars linky, this month was ‘This or That’. Baby and I took part in an Oreo challenge and we came up with Oreos 3 Ways.
This month I celebrated the 2 year anniversary of You Baby Me Mummy, which is a little strange as it feels like I have been blogging forever (in a good way!). In the anniversary spirit I shared 6 bloggers who have rocked my 2 blogging years, just a thank you to some truly amazing ladies. Baby decided this month that she wanted to potty train and has done amazingly; I have been so surprised by how she has taken to it. Then it was back for more Blog Club with SEO for bloggers.
We love national trust properties and were invited to have a family day at The Vyne, in Hampshire, which was great fun. Baby adores tea parties, so we entered an Argos competition with this post ‘Baby hosts a tea party‘, which turned out to be a winner!
We were asked by higgidy to share a family picnic, which we had on the beach; such a perfect summer day. Baby and I travel to London quite regularly for events and our trips are actually quite special, read more in our London days.
I ended the month’s Blog Club, with how to make your Klout score soar, which I hope gets your score rising! We took our Trunki goodies to the beach and had a perfect summer day.
I was tagged my my gorgeous friend Em in a fun tag, I got 99 problems, or have I? Such fun to write. Another tag saw me share 10 things you didn’t know about me and we ended the month with an end of summer party.
So that’s our August in a little more than a nutshell. Did you have a favourite post this month? I hope you all have a wonderful September.
