We are now almost half way through the year and it is time for me to reflect on ‘The Best of May’
On the 1st of May Em, Amy and I launched our new linky Moving Pictures. We all love capturing our special family moments on film, so this was a logical next step for us. The month had an exciting start when I announced that I had made it onto the BIBs Shortlist!
I attended my first press event abroad in Rome with Bridgestone and I shared it in My Roman Adventure. I wrote a post about something that had been playing on my mind for a while and it was very well received, I think a lot of people felt the same as me; Blogging; Am I lucky?
I have recently started to really enjoy vlogging, so I started my own version of Would you rather as a tag and lots of lovely bloggers have played along. I shared the results of my Rome trip with Bridgestone and what made me change my mind about premium tyres.
I returned to my series 5 Things and penned 5 Things: I love about motherhood, as tough as it is, it really is the best thing I have ever done. Baby had her first day at Pre School, which was a very big deal for both of us. Having never left her with anyone other than Mr Hubby, it was a wrench. I was excited to announce that we are Camp Bestival Bloggers; I can’t wait to experience a festival with my little family. I had my birthday in May and shared 38 lessons for 38 years, how many of them do you share? My lovely friend Amy over at Mr and Mrs T Plus Three and I launched our new monthly linky, Vlog Stars. We give a theme or a set of questions for you to vlog. We are so thrilled that it has got lots of lovely ladies vlogging who were too nervous to before.
I also announced that we have been chosen to be Huggies Pull-Ups Ambassadors. We are so pleased to be working with such a well-known brand during Baby’s potty training. I shared the blog love in 5 Things: I love about my blogger friends. My friends are genuinely the most amazing thing to come out of blogging for me.
Back to #BlogClub with How to maintain your blog, which summed up all the bits and bobs that you should be doing to ensure your blog runs smoothly. I started to get in the BritMums spirit and joined in the I’m going to BritMums Live meme, while throwing in a few reasons why I think you should go too. I can’t believe it is nearly here, I am so excited!
I announced our appointment as Tommee Tippee Ambassadors, we are thrilled to represent such a well-respected brand during 2015. Then I got the news that we were Finalists in the Brilliance In Blogging Awards. Words cannot describe how happy this news made me, it really does mean a lot to me.
I shared some tips on how to become a brand ambassador in my blogging series and rounded up our day with friends when we met up with Katy (What Katy Said) and her gorgeous girls.
I feel, without a shadow of a doubt, that blogging has changed my life and I know others feel the same. So I called upon a few friends to share their stories in Blogging Changed Our Lives. I thank them all for sharing their inspiring stories.
We brought the month to a close with a trip to Peppa Pig World, which Baby thought was amazing. I thought it was pretty good too!.
So that was ‘The Best of May’, let’s see what June holds in store.
