The Best of October

Another month has whizzed by; the silver lining is that we are now a month closer to Christmas.  Seeing how Baby is reacting to the Christmas items in the shops, I am so excited for this year.  Sixty three posts made in onto my blog in October, while this is a lot, it does represent a reduction for me (I think I did 84 in February!).

At the end of September we went on a Blue Chip weekend away with our friends Em and her family, to Devon.  We had such a wonderful weekend and shared it here.

Gratitude

I was asked to take part in the wonderful Philadelphia #SpreadASmile campaign, and had to share pictures of people that made me smile.  This is one of the images I shared, a lovely picture which was taken on holiday by Em.

Baby and I

As all of us parents know it is so bittersweet and I shared some of my thoughts in the days are long, but the years are short, which seemed to resonate with other parents out there.  I was lucky to get a ticket to Blog On, which for the first time took place in Winchester (only a short drive from me) and I put together a post with the main takeaways from the day.

After a false start with a pony we had found for Baby to share; we were delighted to share finding the perfect pony, which introduced Sali!

Lots of you are still enjoying my Blog Club series,  What to expect from a blogging conference hopefully helped people prepare for BlogFest at the end of this month.

what to expect from a blogging conference

In September we were approached by Travel Supermarket, who offered to send us to Barcelona.  We were so grateful and VERY excited as it would be Baby’s first time on a plane.  I shared our wonderful weekend in these posts, Barcelona part 1 and Barcelona part 2.

The week after our Barcelona trip Baby and I were invited to London to a Cupcake decorating masterclass, which was great fun.  Although it is amazing fun being away and we remain so grateful for all the opportunities we are blessed with sometimes you just need time at home, I shared my thoughts in our ‘no plans’ weekend.

Mid way through the month I headed solo to Blog Camp Vibe in London.  It was a blogging conference that focused on business and highlighted people that had been very successful in particular areas.  One of the best parts for me was a talk about Instagram from Lucy (Capture by Lucy), which prompted me to share 10 Instagram feeds I love and then go on to change the way I use Instagram completely.

Baby and I entered a competition and we shared a humorous look at how Cravendale goes down in our house.

Bathtime

Baby has become increasingly aware of camera and so I told the tale of our budding photographer.  Back to Blog Club with a Blogger’s guide to linkys.  Which hoped to explain what linkys are and how they can benefit you.  Having missed out on the lavendar field pictures, I decided to make the most of Halloween, so Baby, Aunty, Mr Hubby and I headed to the woods with a witches costume and a camera! The result was my favourite pictures of Baby;  If you go down to the woods today.

I finished the month with a review for new all-in-one suit, it has made it to this post because the suit is awesome and I adore the pictures of Baby.
