Our Christmas 2014

It is a fact that all parents know, Christmas is more magical when you have children.  Seeing things through their eyes, is THE best thing.   Christmas is my favourite time of year, but now I am a parent I adore it even more.  Our Christmas was quiet and spent with Mr Hubby’s sister (and her hubby) at our house, nothing out of the ordinary, but I wanted to share a few memories.

On Christmas Eve Baby’s first job was to investigate her Christmas Eve basket.

Christmas

Our guests arrived early, although Mr Hubby’s sister had to work for most of the day,  so Baby and I went to the park for some fresh air.

Christmas

We weren’t there for very long before Baby needed a car nap, but it was nice to have a little one on one time.  Then it was back home to get ready for Santa’s arrival.

Christmas

With her stocking and Santa’s goodies all ready for him, all we had to do was wait.

Christmas

Christmas morning arrived and Baby loved getting stuck into her stocking.  We went downstairs to open the ‘big’ presents, Baby got a little overwhelmed and it was left to Mummy to do most of the opening!

Christmas

I already have my Christmas present (2015 Blogtacular ticket), but Mr Hubby also got me a few bits.  My favourite present was this card from Baby. There were tears.

Christmas

Then it was time for Baby to go and see her main present, a trampoline!  Bless her, she really adores it!

Christmas

So that was our Christmas, low key and spent with the people we love, perfect!

  3. Our Christmas is not far from how you celebrated yours. Sometimes I am jealous of the grand celebration on the other blogs that I am reading and yet I know that I wouldn’t want my Christmas to be any other way. #whatsthestory

At the end of the day it is about the people, as long as you have your family, we don’t need huge celebrations x

  4. Looks like a lovely Christmas! Arthur was completely overwhelmed by all the present opening too – I think we’ll need to work out a way to stagger it next year, especially with his birthday only a couple of days later… Love the trampoline! x

  6. Sounds like you have a fantastic Christmas, and as always amazing pictures, Baby always looks like she is having a wonderful time!
We had a lovely quiet Christmas too with my parents and my brother and his wife, it was nice to be able to spend more than a few hours in each other company and Boo loved all the attention.
Wow! Baby’s trampoline is amazing! They are so much for aren’t they? Boo adores hers too (though we will have to work up to a trampoline that size!! hehe)
