Creating our Living Arrows Book with photobox

If you are a blogger you may have heard of the Living Arrows project.  Originally started by I Heart Snapping and now hosted by the lovely Hayley over at Shutterflies, the aim is to capture an image each week that epitomises the beauty and magic of childhood in your eyes.  I really enjoyed taking part, and at the end of 2014, had a folder on my PC filled with our lovely Living Arrows pictures.

photobox reviewphotobox very kindly offered to print our book for us and I selected an A4 Lay Flat Photobook, although you can opt for an A3 book.  I was actually blown away by all the options you have when creating your book.  You can pick one of various themes or create your own.  Each page can have text on it if you wish and also can have a different picture layout, which is great if your pictures are a mixture of landscape and portrait, as some on ours are.  You can personalise the cover as you wish, changing fonts and countless other things, until you are completely happy with your finished book. You can then review each page before sending your order to be printed.

It  didn’t take long for our book to be delivered and I was so excited to see it; our year of pictures in print!  It is safe to say I love it and I am so thrilled with the culmination of the project.

Page The quality of the printing is fabulous and all the pages are thick, quality paper.  Here is just a little selection of our pictures.

This project is so special, I am so pleased that I saw it through all year and now have this wonderful record of weekly pictures.  I am also taking part in 2015, so will have to produce one all over again next year.

I cannot fault this fabulous photobook or the wonderful service I received from photobox.  If you took part in the Living Arrows project or The 52 Project, and have yet to produce your book, why not have a look.  photobox offer so many creative options for photo printing, even if you didn’t do the project.

The A4 Lay Flat Photobook is priced at £39.99 for 26 pages.  So you will need to add additional pages for this project.  For 52 pages it will cost £65.73.  I received a 70 page book and so I added some of my Sunday photos featuring Baby at the end of the book.  For a project that I worked on all year, and to cement these memories, I think the book is well worth the money.

Disclosure: I received this photobook in return for an honest review.

I would love it if you could spare the time to vote for me in the BIB awards (‘Family’ probably fits my blog best)
